Team Lopez – Julia Lopez MP has welcomed the government’s acceptance of the recommendations from the Pay Review Bodies for NHS staff, teachers and our police.

Over one million NHS staff will receive a pay rise of up to 9.3% - at least £1,400.

All teachers across the country will benefit from pay increases of up to 5%, with uplifts of 8.9% on starting salaries, putting us the government on track to deliver on the manifesto commitment for new teacher pay to rise to £30,000.

All police ranks will receive an extra £1,900 – an uplift of 8.8% for the lowest paid.

These balanced and proportionate rises delivers the highest uplifts to public sector pay in twenty years, reflecting the vital contributions our public sector workers make to our country.
