In the last couple of weeks, Julia Lopez has been meeting with officials and asking questions to TfL and Essex and Suffolk Water about the latest situation with regard to Gallows Corner. Commenting on social media, Julia said:
Recent meetings on the Gallows saga have raised serious questions about TfL's planning, decision-making and stewardship of public money in managing this major road project.
I have now written to Mayor Sadiq Khan asking him those questions but am also working with Susan Hall AM, Leader of the Conservative Group on the GLA, to make sure they are put to him directly.
Here’s my latest update following meetings with Essex & Suffolk Water, on site with TfL and ESW and then with Susan, who visited me in Hornchurch last week - I’m grateful to her for all her help as the Conservative London team works together to get answers for residents and businesses.
