Julia has again written to Sir Mark Rowley, pushing for an update on the Met Police's Estate Strategy. See the letter text below:

Dear Sir Mark,

Hornchurch Police Station

I write again to seek an update on the publication of the Metropolitan Police Estate Strategy and the future of Hornchurch Police Station.

We have been corresponding on this issue for over two years now, I first raised this in December 2022, before meeting in April 2023 when I updated you on a local petition with over 1,100 signatories against the sale of the station. During that meeting, you advised that a review of the Met’s Estate Strategy, which would underpin decisions on individual stations, was due to be completed in the coming months.

At a recent meeting in January, you advised that the Estate Strategy, and therefore a decision on Hornchurch Police Station, was expected within the next six months. As we near the end of this period, I would be grateful for an urgent update on the publication date of the Estate Strategy and of your specific consideration of the future of the Hornchurch Police Station.
