Today the team and I visited Uniserve, the UK's number one independent logistics and global trade management provider. Uniserve was founded by local Havering man, Iain Liddell, in 1984 and has grown into a company with huge freight, customs and supply chain operations that include large warehouses in Tilbury and Felixstowe. 

Over the last decade, Uniserve bought and renovated Upminster Court, previously under the ownership of Havering Council, and turned it into a specialist training headquarters to develop expertise among senior levels of management. 

Our visit gave us a fascinating insight into global trade and logistics, and we are grateful to the Uniserve team for the time they spent with us.
