Government Approves £57m to Fund Gallows Corner Flyover Improvements

The Department for Transport have approved £57.3m worth of funding for an Outline Business Case to repair the Gallows Corner flyover in Hornchurch and Upminster following a longstanding campaign by the constituency’s MP, London Assembly Member and local Conservative campaigners.

Google Joins Harold Hill School to Keep Kids Safe Online

Last week local MP and Technology Minister, Julia Lopez, joined a Google assembly at Broadford Primary School, Harold Hill, as part of the tech giant’s Be Internet Legends programme that teaches kids how to stay safe online.

Julia Lopez MP has welcomed today’s publication that Havering Council was able to complete 348 additional highways maintenance repairs between 21 December 2023 and 14 March 2024 following the reallocation of HS2 funds.
