Forest Approach wins nursery bid to boost social mobility

I was delighted to receive the news from Children's Minister, Nadhim Zahawi, today that Forest Approach Academy (formerly Dycourts) on Harold Hill has been successful in its application to the School Nurseries Capital Fund.

The Fund is designed to increase high-quality nursery places in disadvantaged areas and boost social mobility by investing heavily in children's early years. While the application remains subject to grant conditions, we are hopeful that Forest Approach will be able to fulfil them and begin to provide nursery places for children that would most benefit from them.

The Minister's letter to me can be found here.
