I have just received a couple of travel updates from TfL affecting our roads and buses. I have pasted the details below for constituents' interest.
Ardleigh Green Bridge Works:
Since the delivery of the western side of the bridge in early July, we are now ready to move the new bridge into its permanent position. Once the move is complete,
some large temporary bridge components will need to be removed from our site. To achieve this we will need to access the site with large vehicles during the night and close the A127 Southend Arterial Road to traffic.
How our works may affect you
This work is scheduled to take place over a number of nights as outlined below, although we may not need to use all of this time. During this time we will need to

Bus route changes in anticipation of Crossrail/Elizabeth Line
Dear Stakeholder
Between July and September 2017, we consulted on proposals for a number of bus routes serving West, South East and North East London to support the opening of the Elizabeth line.
The proposals were drawn up on a network basis and involved combination of changing where some routes terminate, rerouteing some routes, extending routes to create or maintain connections and introducing new routes.
In total, we received 2,706 responses to the consultation; 2,664 from members of the public and 42 from stakeholders.
Next steps
Having considered all of the consultation responses as well as bus demand data, budgetary considerations and other transport information for these routes, we plan to proceed as follows:
North East London
We plan to proceed with the changes as consulted on for routes 25, 104, 300, 330 and 474. We will also go ahead with revised changes to routes 241, 304 and 497.
We will not be going ahead with the proposed changes to route 115.
These changes will be introduced in line with the phased opening of the Elizabeth line or in response to wider bus network changes and are subject to any necessary changes to highway infrastructure being made by the relevant highway authorities. A full customer communications campaign will be implemented in advance of the changes to let people know new journey options and frequencies.
A breakdown of the consultation responses, themes emerging from the consultation and our responses to the main issues raised, as well as full details of how we plan to proceed can be found in our consultation report and responses to issues raised documents at: https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/elizabeth-line/
Yours sincerely
