I made the following contribution to the Taxation (Cross-Border Trade) Bill, better known as the Customs Bill. The purpose of the Bill is to allow the Government to create a functioning customs, VAT and excise regime for the UK after Brexit.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Elm Park Post Office this morning to check that Christmas preparations were well and truly underway. We met Mr Mashadi and his team as well as regular customer, Reg, whose dad was the last postman in City of London to use horse-drawn post carriage.
This week I had a meeting in parliament with Michael Hook, father of three-year old constituent, Isla Caton, who was diagnosed this year with neuroblastoma, the disease from which young football fan, Bradley Lowery, also suffered.
